P15

Geert Mul, 2008

Geert Mul developed an interactive installation titled P15 on commission from the Nederlands Fotomuseum. The installation was designed as an innovative and intuitive platform where museum visitors can curate their own film program. Instead of watching passively, P15 invites the audience to engage actively. The video selection features works by photographers who use moving images, drawn from the museum’s extensive archive and complemented by special contemporary presentations.

The installation was located in the knowledge center of the Nederlands Fotomuseum, then housed in the iconic Las Palmas building on the Wilhelminapier in Rotterdam. Using a visually and technologically engaging interface, Mul created a poetic bridge between analog archives and digital interaction. Mothership coordinated and executed the project.
