Located along the N34 in the Emmen region \u2014 an area where tourism, agriculture, and nature converge \u2014 the work consists of concrete elements reminiscent of a fairground. But this time without the noise: no lights, no sound, no color \u2014 only silence and form.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"520\" data-end=\"1009\">The objects are playful in function but carry a heavy, monumental presence \u2014 like contemporary dolmens. They offer children a place to climb, explore, and expend their energy, while inviting adults to rediscover their own sense of wonder. In the shadow of the prehistoric dolmens that define the region, Situated raises questions about the times we live in \u2014 about what endures and what fades away. How will future generations look back on our lives?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1011\" data-end=\"1121\">With this work, Maze de Boer creates a silent fairground that \u2014 despite its quietness \u2014 lets the imagination speak loudly.
