In line with the festival\u2019s overarching theme, Heroes, the artist duo created a citywide intervention featuring quotes and one-liners from famous heroes, idols, and celebrities displayed on fa\u00e7ades, windows, and even on people themselves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"355\" data-end=\"698\">Through these interventions, Studio VollaersZwart subjected the concept of heroism to a critical and visually stimulating analysis. The texts functioned as reflective statements, confronting viewers with the shifting status of heroes in contemporary culture \u2014 from admired to condemned, from role model to marketing product.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"963\">The work moved throughout the city, appearing everywhere \u2014 from monumental to subtle \u2014 and in doing so, created a temporary layer within the urban landscape.
