The monument proudly stands on Hillelaan, near Rijnhaven metro station in Rotterdam, right in the Feijenoord district, through which much of the race route passed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"878\">The monument was unveiled by former cycling legend Johan van der Velde and has since served as a tangible reminder of a historic sporting moment.
