From a modest snack stand, they served culinary creations made entirely from instant and ready-made ingredients. Think cup-a-soup haute cuisine or microwave meals with flair \u2014 fast food with a conceptual twist.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"388\" data-end=\"800\">With Kutkoks, the artists delivered a flavorful \u2014 and slightly sarcastic \u2014 critique of contemporary food culture, where convenience and speed often outweigh taste or nutrition. At the same time, they played with the idea of the artist as a \u201ctastemaker,\u201d both literally and figuratively. Visitors could grab a sandwich at the stand and, in doing so, take part in a dining experience that raised more questions than it answered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"802\" data-end=\"1044\">The project was presented during the festival as part of \u201cSeptember in Rotterdam\u201d, commissioned by Rotterdam Festivals.
