What is normally just a grey wall for passing traffic suddenly became a story about Sliedrecht \u2014 a visual pause along the highway.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"367\" data-end=\"676\">Collin worked for weeks on the narrow strip between the guardrail and the wall, painting with brush and color amid traffic and curious onlookers. The result: an expansive artwork nearly 200 meters long that not only quite literally puts the town on the map but also demonstrates the transformative power of art in public space.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"958\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Mothership oversaw the project from start to finish \u2014 as curator, producer, and project manager. Together with Collin and Rijkswaterstaat, we turned a pilot project into a powerful statement.
