Unleash the Raspberri – Amsterdam
For the launch of the new Absolut Raspberri in 2005, Arno Coenen was invited to create his own interpretation of the theme Unleash the Raspberri. On June 11, 2005, at exactly 5:27 p.m., he unveiled a monumental mosaic of colored panels measuring 30 by 15 meters in Amsterdam. The work overflowed with symbolism and color — an explosive visual translation of the new flavor experience.
The action was part of a series of guerrilla art interventions commissioned by Being There for Absolut Vodka. Photographer Jaap Vliegenthart captured the work at the moment suprême. His photographs became the core visuals for the subsequent poster campaign, giving the temporary artwork a lasting visual impact — both in the city and in the public imagination.
Mothership developed the concept, acted as curator, and was responsible for project management and execution.
