The Loveseat by Studio Ruwedata, designed by artist Thijs Kelder, is a playful and energetic artwork along the Path of Love in Ruurlo, celebrating ‘Love for movement’. This Loveseat is not only meant to sit on, but also to experience — your heart leaps at the motion and sounds that emerge from it.

Thijs Kelder is known for his applied three-dimensional art installations with a strong graphic style. His work is full of references to pop art, iconography, and vintage advertising — elements that also shine through in this vibrant creation. The Loveseat plays with color, form, and interaction, and is designed to stimulate the senses.

Mothership acted as curator, executor, and project manager for this project, ensuring that the artwork was seamlessly integrated into the public space of Ruurlo.
