Hand in Hand

Hand in hand Kameraden is a monumental tribute by artist Arno Coenen to Feyenoord’s star striker Dirk Kuijt. The mosaic, composed of no fewer than 40,000 glass tiles and measuring 2.70 by 6.30 meters, was created in June 2005 together with visitors of Goudkoorts, the Art & Business Fair in Rotterdam. The project took place as part of Rotterdam Sportstad 2005. After its presentation, the artwork was given a permanent home in De Kuip stadium, where it greets countless Feyenoord supporters each day. Mothership was the initiator and acted as curator, producer, and project manager.
