Fotomonument Tour de France 01
The photo monument Tour de France is a striking artwork by Studio Ruwedata, created in 2015 to mark a special stage finish of the Tour de France at the Oosterscheldekering in Zeeland. The work playfully and powerfully references both cycling and Dutch pride: water management and the Delta Works. The monument invites visitors to photograph themselves with the impressive hydraulic structure in the background, sharing Dutch ingenuity with the world through social media.
Mothership was responsible for the entire process — from concept development and curation to project management and production. Commissioned by Rijkswaterstaat, the artwork was created as the first in a series of art installations along the Deltawerken.
