On May 14, 2025, Rotterdam commemorated the 85th anniversary of the bombing. This time, the focus was not on the buildings — but on the people. Commissioned by the Comité Herdenking 14 Mei, Mothership, together with Video Agency, developed and produced a moving tribute: the names and faces of 711 victims were projected onto buildings and screens across the city between May 6 and 14.

Mothership was responsible for the concept development, production, and project management of this visually powerful and deeply personal commemorative project. At locations such as Rotterdam Central Station, the Kop van Zuid, and even on a plane tree that survived the bombing, the stories of the deceased came to life. For relatives, it meant more than remembrance — it offered comfort, visibility, and space for dialogue.
