De Magische Bron
De Magische Bron (The Magical Spring) is a water sculpture by Zoro Feigl, in which vibrations within a shallow water basin create a mesmerizing visual spectacle. The basin, approximately three meters in diameter, responds to frequencies that make the water swirl, ripple, or gently wave. At times calm and hypnotic, at others wild and turbulent — the water seems alive, inviting touch and wonder.
Feigl magnifies microscopic vibrations into a tangible experience. The resulting patterns evoke associations with cellular structures, geological formations, and reflections of seasons and natural forces. The work bridges science and sensory magic — a continuous interplay of resonance and interference, where order and chaos meet in ever-changing motion.
The basin is encircled by a terrazzo and stainless steel seating element. From a distance, the water appears to float, creating a dreamy sense of depth through light, reflection, and movement. The fountain is interactive without technology — no buttons, no screens — just the direct experience of water, sound, light, and vibration.
The Magische Bron is a place to linger, to slow down, and to be surprised. An artwork that unites calm and intensity, attracts and connects people, and offers an unforgettable experience — both visually and physically.
