With a Kiss

With a Kiss is a poetic performance by the artist collective BLISS, known for their “soft performances” that playfully center around female archetypes, role models, and girlish fantasies. In this intimate installation, an open stage featuring a glowing red heart serves as the radiant centerpiece. During the winter seasons of 2012 and 2013, With a Kiss brought warmth and romance to the heart of Rotterdam, with performances on the Coolsingel and Eendrachtsplein.

The performance was presented as a public intervention, subtly inviting the audience to take part in a theatrical and sensory experience. The work explored themes of love, attention, and the power of a symbolic gesture — a kiss.

With a Kiss was coordinated and produced by Mothership, commissioned by Bureau Binnenstad. The visual strength and gentle energy of the work made it a cherished highlight of the city’s winter program.
