Tribute to Banksy

During 24 UUR Cultuur in Rotterdam, Mothership and CCCP organized a striking photo moment as a tribute to Banksy’s iconic Flower Thrower. Visitors were invited to pose in the artwork’s signature stance — flowers in hand, ready to make a visual statement.

These photos were then shared online as a playful and affectionate gesture toward the anonymous artist. The moment gave passersby the chance to be art themselves, turning the street into a stage.

With this interactive project, Mothership and CCCP created a colorful tribute to street art, participation, and the power of visual language in public space. Mothership developed the concept, led the participation process, acted as curator, and handled production.
