Parade des Drapeaux
In 2010, the Tour de France kicked off in Rotterdam — and that called for a statement. Studio Ruwedata (Thijs Kelder) and Mothership jointly developed the concept Parade des Drapeaux: a tribute to all 200 participating cyclists. Each rider was honored with a yellow flag printed with their portrait, surname, and national colors. For this occasion, the flags of the National Flag Museum on the Boompjes were temporarily lowered to make room for this unique homage. Tour Director Christian Prudhomme and Thijs Kelder raised the first flag together. The Parade des Drapeaux transformed the Boompjes into a vibrant corridor of athletic pride and international unity. Mothership coordinated and executed the project.
