Art in the Outlook 01

With Art in the Outlook, British artist Claire Harvey brought a touch of subtle magic to the Tax Service Office at Schiphol. Small human figures, applied on transparent vinyl stickers, appear to move in relation to their surroundings. Their position shifts as your perspective changes — a playful dialogue between sightlines and imagination.

The seemingly ordinary scenes take on new meaning depending on where you stand, confronting you with the question: who is observing whom?

Commissioned by the Rijksgebouwendienst, the work was realized with Mothership as producer and project manager.
